** Description changed:

  [Impact]
- High, Because users expect these tools to be in their default
- $PATH, and scripts/cron jobs/etc using them will break after upgrading
- from 1.5.2 to 1.5.3.
+ Low, Since it is easily worked around by creating symlinks or updating $PATH

  [Test Case]
  Install postgis from oneiric
Notice the location of the binaries in /usr/bin/

  [Development Fix]

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=25;filename=postgis.648176.path.patch;att=1;bug=648176

  [Stable Fix]
  Same as Development Fix

  [Regression Potential]
Low, Since it only changes the location of the binaries

  [Original Report]
  See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=648176 for more details.

1.5.3-2 has been released for precise, but obviously this bug still
exists in the 1.5.3-1 in ocelot. Can the fix be applied to 11.10 ocelot
  too please?

  The fix summary is:
    * Moved pgsql2shp/shp2pgsql under conventional /usr/bin path.
      (closes: #648176)
