I have exactly the same problem (speakers don't mute when headphone jack inserted), but I'm not using an Acer. Would my information most usefully go in this bug report, or should I start a new one? It would seem silly to have a new report for every bit of hardware if there is a problem common to many platforms, on the other hand it would be good not to confuse two different causes if this particular one is Acer-specific.
