Just to be clear:

- it seems that the bug affects acer/emachines models
- the touchpad is not recognized by kernel/x.org, the is no touchpad tab in 
mouse settings
- doesn't appear on a xinput list command
- if i reboot the computer several times sometimes I get lucky and the touchpad 
starts to work (on a randomly basis, after 1 or maybe 5-6 reboots)
