I can assure you that a fix to this problem is not just going to slip
into a release of Firefox, or somehow be caused by some other unrelated
bug being fixed. It's a fundamental design decision with how NPAPI
works. Fixing this bug will involve changing that directly.

Please don't comment on this bug trying to figure out whether it has
magically been fixed - it hasn't. Also please read the whole thread
before commenting, difficult as that may be.

In fact, there is probably very little anyone can say on this bug report
that will actually be useful, unless they are a Mozilla employee. That
includes this comment (apologies in advance for posting it).
