The steps to reproduce this on my laptop are:

* sudo apt-get install myunity
* execute myunity
* go to desktop
* set on H Desktop = 4 and V Desktop = 1
* Close Unity
* Open gedit or any other app
* Do Right click on the title bar of the app window and in the contextual menu
select 'move to another workspace' -> 'workspace 2'
* Press CTRL + ALT + Right Arrow to go to workspace 2
* Maximize the app window
* Press CTRL + ALT + Right Arrow to go to workspace 3
* Then you can see the app you had open on workspace 2 is now on the workspace
1, the window should stay in the workspace 2.

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bitx using Unity 3D Desktop also i'm
running gnome-panel on a laptop Lenovo G470
