After installing Apples latest firmware update ios 5.1.1 I've been
unable to mount my idevice using Ubuntu Linux 10.04. When I connect the
ipod touch 4g via usb the system fails to recognize it. I've installed
libimobiledevice 1.0.6 through the synaptic package manager, but
according to libimobiledevice's own website, the latest version is
1.0.7. Is there a reason why the latest version is not available through
synaptic package manager?
