I have checked the files. Page size and positioning of the text is
identical and OK in all files. If there are shifts on the printer it is
a bug in Brother's driver. The output of Poppler's pdftops filter shows
indeed wrong character. Each character is replaced by the character
whose ASCII code is by 2 higher than the code of the original character:
'o' -> 'q', ' ' -> '"', ... newline characters are not changed.

Probably this is some bug in Poppler.
