Public bug reported:

>From time to time Pidgin that is set to autostart each time when my
system is booted gets two launchers (one that I placed and the second
one the system invents). The invented launcher is active while my
original launcher is idle. To refocus I need to close the new launcher
(after that Pidgin itself is still running) and start it again through
the launcher that I made. This will show Pidgin windows and refocus. But
after a reboot things repeat from time to time.

I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Pidgin 2.10.3
