Public bug reported:

Ubuntu version: 12.04 (Precise Pangolin)
Desktop: gnome-session-fallback

Package: indicator-multiload 0.2-0ubuntu1

Steps to reproduce:
(1) Make sure indicator-multiload has been added.
(2) Left click. A menu should come up.
(3) Observe the value listed under "Net:".

Expected result:
When not in use, down and up should both show about 0 bytes/sec.

What happened instead:
Frequently, the down/up speeds are observed to be about 73 million TB per
second.

I observe that this happens only when the connection is not active. When
the connection is active, the values listed are as expected (hovering
around down: 300kb/s, up: 10kb/s).

** Affects: indicator-multiload (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
