I needed to print an application form, and after a few seconds the process
"stopped". I checked the printer log and found the
message "The PPD version (5.2.7) simplified is not compatible with Gutenprint
5.2.8-pre1". I have tried to update the PPDs.
but the command I was told to use failed "permission denied"
