Hi Anthony, I'm not commenting on bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/software-center- agent/+bug/1010252 for it's been marked as a duplicate of this bug. I'm happy to report that the deployed fix seems to have done the trick and I could re-install Bastion successfully today.
