UPDATE! This week I had some more freezes BUT it seems it was hadrware related!. Something with the Sata cable of the HD. The PC didn't boot into Ubuntu and was showing hundreds of I/O errors. Once I changed the cable, boot was ok. I don't know if in this cases (similar errors, but after boot success) the OS could do anything (wich was what I expected, as told before) and maybe this is the cause of the problem, since it was related to I/O too. Let's see if I'll get any freezes now.
