Apparently there are still some small problems with the Eclipse menus
when using the global menu, but my personal opinion is that they are
small enough to ignore for many use profiles.

Since the only way to change the blacklist in appmenu is currently to
rebuild the package or use an editor to fiddle with it's internal string
resources, it would be nice to have a whitelist config file that could
be used to override the blacklist. If nothing else, this would actually
permit testing of the Eclipse menus in the global menubar for the
average mortal. I have hacked my library as described here :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/eclipse/+bug/618587/comments/46 ; and I'll be
working with the global menu until I find a problem that prevents me
from continuing.
