I get the same error as Leonid described above.
Ubuntu 11.10.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open terminal
2) gwibber-accounts
3) Click + and click Add to add a new Twitter account
4) Click Authorize
5) Log in with your twitter credentials
6) Click Authorize app
Twitter redirects back to gwibber.
In "broadcast accounts" window there is a yellow bar stating "Verifying"
Below that there is the Authorize button.
To the right of that it states "Twitter Autorized"
Twitter however does not appear in the accounts list.
In terminal I get the this error:
