Sebastian confirmed the *behaviour* and the behaviour is not a bug in
vim, so please stop unrejecting it. If you think there is something
wrong with the way Ubuntu uses sudo (like: why not use always_set_home
by default in /etc/sudoers) then raise a discussion on more appropriate
channels than a bug report about vim.
