Gary, can you confirm that you installed hotwire? I wasn't particularly clear in my bug description. With that package installed, there will be a 192x192 image at /usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps/hotwire- openssh.png. I'm adding that image as an attachment.
That the image is too big is hotwire's error, but Software Centre should be a lot more careful here. It should enforce a maximum image size and actually scale images if they are above 24px. Right now something weird and crazy is happening. ** Attachment added: "Oversized Hotwire icon placed in icons/hicolor/24x24/apps" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/969687/+attachment/3195593/+files/hotwire-openssh.png ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/969687 Title: Icon for hotssh appears gigantic and is rendered above 1x size To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/969687/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
