Hello, Not sure if it is completely appropriate to post a work-around here for this problem until this issue gets looked at, but given it seriously affected my workflow (and had me consider returning to Windows!) it may help someone else.
I set up a VirtualBox virtual machine running Xubuntu 11.10 and use Remmina inside the virtual machine. Works a treat, alows me to use 4 active desktops without any issues and the clipboard works (has been a problem in Remmina since upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04). Hopefully Remmina will be fixed shortly but this works well for me in the meantime.
