I'm not sure, if you understood me / I understood you. I meant this: Right click in a text input box -> "Languages" -> make sure an entry is chosen (should have a dot in front of it). You can choose a language by simply clicking on it in this submenu.
"Extras -> Add-ons -> Languages" was only for checking, if a desired language pack is installed and _activated_ or not.
