Hello jurgster. From your logs, this is the error:
Setting up dovecot-common (1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.5) ...
Creating generic self-signed certificate: /etc/ssl/certs/dovecot.pem
(replace with hand-crafted or authorized one if needed).
hostname: Name or service not known
dpkg: error processing dovecot-common (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
It would appear that dovecot's postinst requires that your hostname be
resolvable to an address, and that yours is not.
Please try:
ping `hostname`
If this fails then you may want to make sure that hostname is in
/etc/hosts attached to 127.0.0.1. It is expected that the host name of a
machine be resolvable at all times.
Once you have fixed the resoultion, doing 'dpkg --configure -a' should
finish configuring your updates.
