Ming Lei,
I'm not GP, but I have a similar laptop with a similar problem, and the
same usb3 controller (ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1042 SuperSpeed USB
Host Controller).
I did test your kernel, and it did not work. I fear, however, that this
bug is unrelated to the usb3 controller (or is more than one bug), as
the part of the workaround that tells us to manually suspend xhci
" /etc/pm/config.d/usb3-suspend-workaround:
--
#File: "/etc/pm/config.d/usb3-suspend-workaround".
SUSPEND_MODULES="xhci"
---"
Is useless for me (and others http://askubuntu.com/questions/53372
/suspend-hibernate-doesnt-work-on-an-asus-laptop ); so I suspect the
problem lies with the plain old ehci controller.
I hope you find this information useful.
Best,
Mateus
