Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ntfs-config
Ntfs-config checks on every program start the hard disk for ntfs partitions and
if they aren't listed in fstab it asks if it should add them. This is a great
feature and works fine but it doesn't recognizes ntfs partitions entries which
are listed with the UUID in fstab so it always asks even if the partitions is
mounted.
BTW ntfs-config should use the UUID instead of the hda/sda devices for new
partition entries since the Feisty kernel seems to switch between hda and sda
on some systems for EIDE and I think there are other good reasons why UUID is
used since Edgy.
** Affects: ntfs-config (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
