Actually I don't think the "DAAP Proxy" bit has anything to do with this, but that means that in debug mode, it isn't outputting any errors from the Amazon extension, the only thing it mentions is "[Info 23:21:14.678] AmazonMP3 store redirect URL: https://one.ubuntu.com/music/store/amz/";.
Is Banshee using an external browser's engine to load the store?
