Thanks taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Gutsy Gibbon.
If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please follow the instructions for "How to request new packages" at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#request-new-packages . As mentioned above the fix was first included in squid-2.6.STABLE4, which corresponds to 2.6.4-1 (see debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=389536). Gutsy and Feisty have a more recent version of the package. ** Changed in: squid (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- HEAD requests for ftp URLs always return 200 OK even if not OK https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/59332 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
