The loading/unload of hid_logitech_dj does not work for me,
unfortunately (possibly my mouse simply doesn't use that module).

If I unplug the mouse and plug it back in, it begins to work.
If I log out and log back in, the mouse works.
Also - I am able to launch one application before the mouse stops working. For
instance, I can launch the terminal using the mouse, but after launching it, I
can no longer click (I can still move the mouse).

Here's my dmesg |grep -i logitech

Lastly, this is a fresh install. I upgraded from 11.10 and had this
issue. I formatted yesterday, and installed 12.04 fresh hoping that the
issue would be resolved. I also have this issue using 12.04 live.
