Adding to the fray. This worked perfectly for me in 11.12 and broke in 12.04 apparently with the upgrade. I am creating a new folder and changing backup location. This bug should be considered critical mostly because users (such as myself) do pay for this service and the nature of this service is critical.
If you need any more help with testing this let me know.
