Public bug reported:
Good Day . . .
Not sure on who wants ownership of this so here goes . . .
Just loaded a fresh Kubuntu 7.04.
Opened synaptic and loaded a few useful apps such as gnome's gthumb and f-spot.
Opened gthumb - blank window - window outline with two light coloured squares
where file list and thumbnails should be.
Impossible to shutdown window - must repeated click close button at top-right
of window.
KDE message must force closure.
Tried other gnome apps such as f-spot - same problem.
Went to ubuntu packages and checked every dependency with apt-get (all 20+) -
all installed.
Apt-get ubuntu-desktop - maybe pick up the missing whatever.
Opened gnome desktop - gthumb and f-spot work as normal.
Opened KDE - still not working.
Everything else works good!
