I'm looking at the dependency you referred to, 'libjgit-java'.
The below is a changelog from the latest 'jgit' source package in
Quantal, which provides 'libjgit-java':
jgit (2.0.0-2) unstable; urgency=low
* Add breaks on eclipse-egit (<< 2.0) to ensure egit is
upgraded together with libjgit-java.
* Work around issue with the maven clean rule.

This problem is becauses eclipse-egit 2.0.x FTBFS (fails to build from
source) in Quantal (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eclipse-
egit/2.0.0-1/+build/3614054).
