Public bug reported: I've noticed recently for several fresh Xubuntu 12.04 installations (alternate and desktop), that on all partitions formated by the installer the filesystem check at boot time is disabled. E.g.
sudo tune2fs -l /dev/sda6 | grep -iE " mount count|check " Maximum mount count: -1 Check interval: 0 (<none>) That would mean the filesystem will never be checked on a regular basis, right? ** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019490 Title: Periodic filesystem check at boot time disabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/+bug/1019490/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
