Asus 1011CX (Intel Atom N2600) working with 12.04 up-to-date
(3.20.0-26-generic)

I didn't experienced this problem. System is working. I must to make
more tests but it is working (at 1024x600)

Some people say that Quantal (12.10) doesn't have troubles with Cedar
chipsets. But I prefer LTS editions. And 12.10 is still beta...
