The following commands work without problems here in gutsy and it doesn't seem
to need docbook or xorg-dev:
$ cd /tmp
$ apt-get source bochs
[...]
$ sudo apt-get build-dep bochs
[...]
$ cd bochs-2.3
$ debuild -B -us -uc
[...]
Can you please provide in which case (eg. which version of ubuntu you
are using, on what command does it request the two missing packages, did
you use the upstream package?) docbook or xorg-dev are needed?
