Just noticed your comment. This has been a while ago. I've noticed a couple other users describe this (or a similar) problem on the Ubuntu Forums.
Here for example: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2009372 I found another solution that may be a clue as to what was going on: I found that if I re-installed Edubuntu (while connected via wireless) but made sure *not* to check off the install wireless configuration, I had no trouble with the connection once Edubuntu was installed. Again, this has been a while and was with 11.10. You might be able to reproduce the error by instructing the installer to install the wireless configuration? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879414 Title: Wi-Fi works with Xubuntu or Edubuntu live CD but not after installation of Edubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/edubuntu-meta/+bug/879414/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
