Sticky edges are also intended to help with scrollbar targeting. We already have a switch to turn the sticky edges off, and we have a set of refinements in the pipeline that aim to improve the way sticky edges catch the pointer when you want them to, and release the pointer when you don't want the pointer to be caught.
