@Mozaic, @mohican, @Detlef, I had the same problem after the update. However, after uninstalling and then reinstalling lo-menubar from the software centre eveything now works properly. The menu is integrated back into the global menu and page preview doesn't cause a crash. It might be worth you trying this too.
