Hi again I have figured it out! Your colleague (Robert?) asked if I was using the Australian Language Pack. I presumed I was, but went to check in Preferences.
If you look at the main tab under Home Page, if you only have one page open when setting your home page, the tab for Using the page you are on now says Use Current PAGE. If you have multiple windows open when you set your home page, the tab will say Use Current PAGES. Therefore no matter what page you are trying to set, if you have more than one window open, FF will set all those windows as Home. I have never had this happen when I was using FF in Windows, so perhaps I have found a different bug? I have now set my Home page by loading only one window before clicking the Current page icon. If you would like screenshots, just let me know. Your turn!
