Same goes here. It might be related to suspend.
Lately I have not experienced with it, because I'm using Arch Linux.
It has been working 100% perfectly with the stock arch kernel starting last 
September. So I believe it must be some ubuntu modification to the vanilla 
kernel that causes the bug. If I can help by testing please advise.
