I might be affected as well. I have a Toshiba NB550D. Kubuntu 12.04. What I observe: 1) Charger plugged in, charging, showing "charging" 2) Take off the low voltage plug from the mobile computer directly -> correctly detected 3) Plug back in -> correctly detected 4) Take off the mains plug (low voltage plug to computer stays connected) -> does not detect 5) Take off the low voltage plug -> Still not detected
