I've just tested the latest Ubuntu 12.04LTS x32
I've been able to launch the alternate installer CD, install Ubuntu with
the text installer, and run it on my PC with Matrox Graphics, Inc.
Millennium G450 32Mb SDRAM Dual Head without any problem.
As far as I'm concerned, this issue is now solved in the latest Ubuntu
distribution.
