I also am getting a consistent kernel panic when plugging / unplugging the
power.
I have a Dell Inspiron Duo, running 64bit Ubuntu 11.10 3.0.0-22-generic.
I can reproduce without logging in. From some searching I tried to disable
pm-utils scripts by
creating empty files in /etc/pm/power.d/, but still results in kernel panic.
Nothing looks interesting in /var/log/. Attached screen shot of kernel panic.
What can I do to help debug what is going on?
