I would say that the flaw here is to consider output messages as the default 
communication between to processes.

Output messages are for human to read, and are only used as a way to get
info from another process when there is no alternative.

Here the proper way is to check the exit code, ansible even put the exit
code in a variable, but does not use it ...

I believe this should be marked as invalid or closed as wontfix
