Public bug reported:
Due to bug #1023145, I decided to try to compile the bcmwl driver myself, so I
downloaded it from the broadcom website and during make I get:
$ make
KBUILD_NOPEDANTIC=1 make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build M=`pwd`
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-3.4.0-030400rc6-generic'
Wireless Extension is the only possible API for this kernel version

It seems to me this is related to the same root problem as bug #993506.
