This ION system was working very well on lucid for years.

Recently I upgraded to 12.04 and switched to a bluetooth keyboard after
my previous wireless keyboard died.

Now I'm seeing all too many soft lockups and Oops that make the system
unstable.

This is an HTPC so its not easy to try to use a regular USB keyboard,
but I can try if that helps.
