Poweroff still does not work for me with "3.2.0-26-generic-pae #41-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 14 16:45:14 UTC 2012 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux" on an ASRock N68-GS3 UCC mainboard. The system shuts down, reports "system halted" but power is not switched off.
