Hi,
I'm using Xubuntu12.04 x64 and I have the same problem, no internal
sound in a HP Pavillon DV6 from the kernel 3.2.0-24 (Works fine in the
3.2.0-23 and older).
I'm gonna test the patch and let you know the result.
