This is a bug report, not a support forum. Please direct any support
questions and solutions for installation and similar activities
elsewhere. There are a lot of people subscribed to this bug and
unnecessary bug mail does nothing but clutter the place up.

To the more hostile: I advise you hop on the ubuntu bugs IRC channel the
next time that you want a bug this important to you looked at for
triaging - Someone will gladly take a look for you and triage it. I
could have sworn that there was an earlier report that I had worked on -
one that would make this one a duplicate. It contained very detailed
info and links to upstream reports. I cannot for the life of me find it
so I'm going to link it up on this one. Regardless, my bad; it slipped
past my hundreds of bug reports.

If the newer kernel does indeed fix the issue but only with a certain
kernel parameter, please open a new bug report, link it here, and have
everyone who is affect by that hop over there so that it's more
organized.

Again, please, this is a bug report and not a support forum. Comments
should only be made if they are relevant to fixing the issue. Thank you.
