Public bug reported:

Tried to install Ubuntu 12.04 on a Dell D800 laptop using the mini iso.
After selected "Install" from installer boot menu installation failed
with error message "This kernel rquires the following features not
present on the CPU: pae". Tried twice with two different copies of the
mini iso downloaded 6 weeks apart. Both copies had correct md5sums. The
mini iso is widely reported to be suitable for non pae machines because
it uses a non-pae kernel. Is this false?

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
