Kyle, thanks for the report. A trivial fix would be to simply not show the banners for non-Main applications, falling back to the "Our star apps" banner if that leaves zero others.
However, which software is Canonical-maintained is currently under discussion. <https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/foundations-q -finish-archive-reorg> I don't know what the result will be, but one possibility is that Canonical-maintained vs. not stops being a useful distinction, so that those menu items need to be removed. We should find out in the next couple of months, and we'll leave this bug report in the meantime. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/914154 Title: Ad banner points to non-canonical maintained software when told to show only those that are canonical maintained To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/914154/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
