Evan, I provided the ' sudo ls -l /proc/$(pidof whoopsie)/exe' to indicate when the whoopsie process was started. And then, I looked at /var/log/apt/history* files to see that whoopsie was last upgraded prior to the start of that.
So, the whoopsie process I had running was started June 27, and the previous glib libglib2.0 upgrade was done (per my apt logs) on libglib2.0-0:amd64 June 20. That installed version 2.33.2-1 of libglib2.0. What package version of libglib2.0 provided the fix? Unfortunately there is no reference in its changelog. And there have been 2 subsequent uploads of glib2 (2.33.3-1 and 2.33.3-2). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1025257 Title: memory leak in whoopsie To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/whoopsie/+bug/1025257/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
