Thanks for taking the time to report this bug in Ubuntu.
The installation is failing because the 'logger' command cannot be found
- this is provided by the bsdutils package.
Please can you check that it is installed:
dpkg -l | grep bsdutils
If not then please install - this package is of priority 'Essential' so
it should be installed.
If it is then I would suggest you re-install with:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall bsdutils
Marking 'Incomplete'; if this does resolve your issue please set to
'Invalid'; if not then set back to 'New' and let us know how you got on.
