Looks like the Orbicam is supported by this v4l2 driver : http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/ and it looks like it's in the kernel : > Linux 2.6.26 and newer includes the Linux UVC driver natively. Creative Labs drivers should be here : opensource.creative.com/webcam.html but it's unresponsive for me at the moment so I can't check if they support v4l2.
