This didn't work for me. For comment #19, when I got to step 1. cupsenable ipp-printer I recieved the following error: cupsenable: Operation failed: client-error-not-found After that point, printing no longer worked locally, and still didn't work remotely. After reinstalling the local printer as a locally connected usb printer, printing locally was restored, and remote printing was still broken. My setup: OS: Kubuntu 12.04 64bit (installed directly to the hard drive, not a virtual install (is that what livebox means?))
